Job Summary

STEMP Solutions is looking for Engineers and Assistant Engineers or experienced Engineering Technicians to support semiconductor capital equipment assembly, testing and engineering documentation at a customer site in Woodlands, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Support semiconductor equipment assembly, installation and testing at the customer site.

• Observe equipment and assembly processes and capture measurements, engineering notes, photographs and videos.

• Develop or update 3D models, assemblies and drawings based on physical equipment and engineering information.

• Prepare step-by-step work instructions, procedures and checklists using photographs, illustrations and videos.

• Identify discrepancies between actual equipment configuration and existing drawings, models or documentation.

• Maintain relevant BOMs, equipment records and engineering documentation.

• Work with engineers and technicians to ensure documentation accurately represents the equipment and assembly process.

• Design and Manufacturing Engineering tickets processing, Packing list creations, ME support on End-of-Life components/parts, handling supplier queries/redlines and design updates for NCs

• Follow customer requirements for cleanroom, EHS, quality and document control.

• Support engineering and continuous improvement activities related to equipment assembly, testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Experienced technicians with equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

• Experience: Upto 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial equipment, mechanical assembly, installation, maintenance or testing. Entry level candidates with basic knowledge of 3D design/modelling and mechanical assemblies are also welcome to apply.

• CAD & Engineering Documentation: PTC Creo and Siemens Teamcenter experience is advantageous. Candidates with other modelling and drafting software experience are welcome to apply.

• Technical Documentation: Experience developing work instructions, SOPs, checklists or other visual technical documentation will be given priority.

• Equipment Knowledge: Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, precision automation, robotics, vacuum systems, motion control or other high-technology equipment is an advantage.

• Working Environment: Comfortable working hands-on in a semiconductor cleanroom and following strict EHS, quality and customer procedures.

• Personal Skills: Strong attention to detail, observation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians.

Work Arrangement

• Permanent or Contract but Full-time employment.

• Daily onsite presence at the customer site in Woodlands, Singapore is a MUST.

• Regular work inside a semiconductor cleanroom and equipment assembly/testing environment.

• Candidates must be comfortable wearing cleanroom garments and following customer cleanroom, EHS and site procedures.
