Job description for Marketing / Community Engagement Unicorn at Upcircle Pte. Ltd.
Only for students enrolled full-time in Singapore universities.
We have successfully relaunched the Upcircle app and are focused on building a strong community of users and bringing more users and use cases on board the platform.
We are looking for an intern who enjoys injecting fun and life into the topic of environmental sustainability and circularity. Someone who will take ownership and be proud of building up a community around this topic.
Given the right candidate, we would also love to have you be part of the core team as we are still in super early stages. We are looking for someone who can commit for a couple of months and are more than happy to support a letter of deferment for your upcoming school semester.
You will be working very closely with the founder and the core team to manage the following:
- Social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Creating content for the above channels and also our mobile application
- Creating content for and sending out regular emailers for the app community
- Video content creation and/or illustration skills are a great plus
- Managing telegram channel and engaging with community
You will learn:
- how to create and manage a community from scratch
- how to create content that best engages with the audience
- the different tools and platforms out there that may be used to create content
- how a startup truly operates
- environmental related topics
- about community projects and sustainability
-related organisations in Singapore
- Consumer behaviour in engaging with sustainability topics
Looking for:
- Design skills e.g. Canva, Photoshop
- Video-editing skills for IG reels so mobile apps work too If you do not know the above but are willing to learn, you are more than welcome to learn on the job.
