Job description for Marketing and Business Development Lead at Hg Exchange
- Develop and manage relationships with financial institutions and related businesses
- Plan and manage efforts to build brand awareness, promote listings and attract potential financial institutions
- Develop and maintain marketing strategy, to include areas like public relations, media engagement, social media, etc.
- Oversee, execute and track branding and marketing activities, including events and conferences, as well as management of marketing-related collateral and documents, etc.
- Create and deliver presentations, engage with other potential and existing partners and coordinate with HGX members to drive the marketplace and trading ecosystem
- Develop long-term strategies for listing and membership growth, maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive landscape and industry developments to identify commercial opportunities
- Drive the development and continued cultivation of client relationships, gaining an understanding of the interests and gather feedback from members and issuers
- Manage and maintain key vendor relationships, including with third-party marketing and research providers.
- Meet targets and KPIs for listings and membership
- Lead and support other projects and activities that may be required from time-to-time including management of internal corporate processes and operations and related documentation
- University graduate, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in business or IT
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a strong track record in business development and/or marketing in the financial and technology industries in roles such as wealth management, software sales, asset management or blockchain applications
- Solid presentation skills, both oral and written, with competence in preparing and delivering presentations
- Takes ownership and responsibility towards the delivery of KPI’s and other strategic plans
- Good team player that thrives in an open and flexible fintech culture
- Take on challenges, thrive on logic, accept, and create changes with flexibility
- Able to multitask, handle additional roles and work independently in a time-sensitive environment
