About the role;
We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin Speaker to join SEG Manufacturing Philippines Inc. in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. This full-time role is responsible for providing accurate Mandarin, English, and Filipino translation and interpretation, supporting effective communication across departments, and assisting daily business operations between local and Chinese-speaking teams.
Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma; a degree or diploma in Chinese Studies, Chinese Language, Linguistics, Finance, Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
Filipino national.
Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Filipino (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
At least 1 year of experience as a Mandarin Translator/Interpreter is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing to join immediately and work on-site in MEZ II, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate written and verbal communication between Mandarin, English, and Filipino accurately and professionally.
Provide interpretation support during meetings, training sessions, and daily business operations.
Assist with internal and external communication, including documents, emails, and reports.
Support cross-functional teams by facilitating effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Perform other translation and administrative tasks assigned by management.
