Job description for Legal Manager / Head at Sinar Mitbana Mas
- Provide accurate and timely advice to Senior Management on wide range of legal topics (property law, labor law, commercial partnerships, corporate finance etc.)
- Determine internal governance policies and monitor compliance thereto.
- Evaluate legal risk related to business decisions and operations.
- Apply effective risk management strategies and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
- Draft and review agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure legal rights of the company are protected.
- Ensure that documents required for legal transactions or corporate legal actions are completed and executed correctly and consistently.
- Maintain keep abreast of new legal developments and changes in Regulations and liaise with external parties such as relevant authorities where necessary to resolve legal issues for the company.
- Bachelor Degree in law or a related field discipline from reputable universities.
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm, experience in property company is a must.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of company laws and procedures.
- Able to analyze a case and provide legal opinion.
- Good communication skill in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Accustomed to dealing with government agencies and regulatory agencies.
