Principal – Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP Islam Terpadu)
We are seeking a visionary, dedicated, and experienced educational leader to serve as the Principal of our Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP Islam Terpadu). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the academic, operational, and character development programs of the school while upholding Islamic values and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the overall academic and operational activities of the school
* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve educational quality and student achievement
* Supervise teachers and staff to ensure effective teaching and professional performance
* Foster an Islamic learning environment that promotes discipline, character building, and academic excellence
* Monitor curriculum implementation in accordance with national education standards and Islamic school values
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders
* Ensure effective school administration, budgeting, and resource management
* Encourage innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional development among staff
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment
* Represent the school professionally in both internal and external engagements
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or related field
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in educational leadership or school management
* Strong understanding of Islamic education principles and national curriculum standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage school operations effectively
* Strong commitment to character education and student development
* Able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the wider community
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Vice Principal or Principal is highly preferred
* Certification in educational leadership is an advantage
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Familiarity with modern educational technology and school management systems
