Job description for IT Operation - System Administrator at Lintasarta
Job Description:
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, backup operations, and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Run activities related to the development of new IT Infrastructure systems such as system upgrading, proof of concept (POC) creation, and implementation of the new systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Proven work experience in IT would be preferred, but fresh graduates are also welcome
- Experience with or knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Microsoft); enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux or Microsoft are a plus
- Ability to solve problems and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users
