Job description for IT Infra Engineer at French Chamber Of Commerce In Singapore
On behalf of one of its clients, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for an
IT Infra Engineer
Under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Infrastructure engineer contributes to design the company’s IT strategy in terms of infrastructure, networks and systems, and ensure its implementation and maintenance.
His aim is to provide the users with a secure, efficient and innovative IT system fulfilling business needs, and to ensure the proper functioning, updating and maintenance of these systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Managing and implementing large-scale IT projects: retro planning, budget, internal customer relations, vendor relations
• Managing IT infrastructure vendors
• Ensures availability of systems and networks: storage, servers, networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, telephony), devices
• Supervise and ensure availability of all applications on the infra systems
• Supervise IT infra procurement in coordination with the IT Director and Finance Department
• Ensuring the completeness and integrity of storage and backup
• Ensuring that the necessary documentation and processes are delivered and up to date. Ad-hoc trainings
• Ensuring data security, accounts and access rights integrity according to local regulations and internal policies
• Responsible for the IT infrastructure, networks and systems budget
• Responsible for level 2-3 support pertaining to infrastructure, servers and network
• Monitoring closely IT trends and proposing IT upgrades
• Producing activity reports and KPIs dashboards.
• Other missions as assigned by the IT director.
Requirements
- Master in Computer Sciences, Information Technology
- 3-10 years’ experience in IT related activities and experience in supplier management
- ITIL training (certification would be a plus)
- Experience in supplier management
