Job description for Interior Designer at The Minimalist Society
Interior Designer Role
Get the opportunity to learn and work closely with our interior design team to better understand the interior design and renovation process in practice. Diploma holders are welcome.
Design Conceptualization
-Give quality time to study the unique requirements of each client and conceptualize appropriate designs that meet their needs
-Devotion in looking for ways to improve what we design in the spirit of doing our best for our clients
-Provide clear and concise working drawings with specifications
Design Communications
- Propose construction drawings or design ideas
- Learn to give professional advice on space planning, colour scheme and materials selection
-Always have the integrity to do and suggest what is right and not what is convenient
Skills:
-Ability to present and articulate design ideas confidently
- Has good aesthetic sense, a keen eye for detail and is highly creative
-Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Demonstrated experience in rendering of interior drawings using Adobe 3dsMax
- Demonstrated experience in 2D floorplan drawings using Adobe Autocad
-Knowledge in other graphic design softwares is a bonus (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)

-Is self motivated, possess grit and is emotionally resilient
- Strong desire to learn and is open to constructive feedback
-Ability to work effectively in a team but is also highly independent
