Job description for Interior Designer at Builtbot Pte Ltd
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, sketches, space planning, design development, specifications, and detailed drawings.
- Prepare detailed layout plans, elevations, 3D perspectives, and presentation materials.
- Select and source suitable materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and accessories.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients, understand their requirements, and incorporate feedback into revisions.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties to ensure design requirements are properly communicated.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with the project team to ensure designs are implemented according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare quotations, material selections, design proposals, and other project-related documents where required.
- Maintain good attention to detail throughout the design and project development process.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure design deliverables are completed within the required timelines.
- Keep updated on current interior design trends, materials, finishes, and industry practices.
- Perform other ad hoc duties and provide support to the team as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
- Relevant experience in interior design or renovation is preferred.
- Proficient in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Photoshop, or similar.
- Creative, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
