Indonesia Photographer/Videographer
About the Role
Huang He Consultancy is delivering a high-level government delegation's visit to Jakarta and Cikarang, Indonesia (19–20 October 2026), covering meetings with the ASEAN Secretariat, Indonesia's Directorate General of Customs and Excise, the Ministry of Trade/BKPM, and site visits to Cikarang Dry Port and Jababeka Industrial Estate. We need one person who can shoot both professional stills and short-form video across both days, to document the visit for the client deliverable (Learning Journey Briefing Booklet) and for press/PR pitching.
This is a single-operator role (photo + video combined) — not a full production crew.
Responsibilities
● Shoot professional stills across all official meetings, working lunches, and site visits on 19–20 October, including formal delegation/host-organisation group shots and candid working shots
● Shoot short-form video (b-roll + a handful of interview-style soundbites, if delegation members are willing) suitable for a highlight reel
● Work discreetly and non-intrusively in formal government-meeting settings — brief the delegation escort on shot list and any restricted moments in advance each day
● Deliver a curated, lightly-edited photo set (RAW + edited JPEGs) and a short highlight video (target 2–4 minutes) within ~2 weeks of the trip
● Provide a smaller subset of same-day/next-day edited photos suitable for an initial press/PR pitch or LinkedIn post, if requested
Requirements
● Based in or near Jakarta; able to travel to Cikarang
● Demonstrated portfolio covering both event photography and short-form video/b-roll (please share a portfolio link or reel with your application)
● Own professional camera equipment (stills + video capable) and basic lighting/audio kit for interview soundbites
● Comfortable and experienced working discreetly in formal, government/corporate settings
● Reliable, discreet, punctual — this is a confidential, senior-delegation engagement; NDA required
Compensation
● Day rate: proposed SGD 200/day for the two on-ground shooting days (19–20 October)
● Separate post-trip editing fee: proposed flat SGD 300 for the curated photo set + highlight video
● Hotel accommodation to be provided for the on-ground days
● NDA required before onboarding.
