Job description for Head of Department General Affairs at Yayasan Kanaan-Sekolah Kristen Kanaan

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for facilities, operations, and IT management?

Join Yayasan Kanaan as our Head of Department General Affairs and help create a safe, efficient, and technology-enabled learning environment at Sekolah Kanaan Kubu Raya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage General Affairs operations, including facilities, assets, procurement, and support services.
  • Oversee building maintenance, utilities, security, housekeeping, transportation, and office operations.
  • Supervise the school's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network operations to ensure reliable and secure technology services.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to support digital learning initiatives and maintain technology systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and applicable regulations.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and maintenance programs to support efficient school operations.
  • Lead and develop the General Affairs and IT teams to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General Affairs, Facilities, Operations, or related functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management, building maintenance, procurement, asset management, and operational planning.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure, computer hardware, software, networking, and technology support.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Willing to be placed in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan.
