Job Description
In this role, you will work with the Grid Optimization team, which identifies optimization challenges faced by the business in the energy domain and develops real-time and scalable solutions to business problems using various optimization techniques.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support design and programming of real-time, scalable, and flexible solutions in the energy domain
- Implement optimization modules to solve and test the business case
- Validate, test, and deploy the implemented models, problem formulations, and algorithms on a product scale
Technical skills
- Proficient in at least one programming language, Python, C++, C, Go
- Familiar with standard types of optimization problems. Knowledge in optimization solvers such as Gurobi is an added advantage
- Knowledge/interest in power system principles, machine learning or IoT Cloud/Edge computing technologies is an added advantage
Soft skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a group
- Self-motivated learner and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
