Job description for Graphic Design Intern at Getgo Technologies Pte Ltd

As a Design Intern, you are a driven and out-of-the-box creative who can help bring to life compelling visual designs that are aligned with our brand narrative, creative concepts and marketing strategies. You will be part of GetGo’s highly energetic and dynamic creative team, collaborating with other creative disciplines to create branded collateral & original campaign content across our platforms such as product, social media, website, editorial, core brand creative initiatives etc.
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, has a strong eye for good visual design, and has a strong understanding of digital media and tools to create engaging content. We are also looking for someone who can start immediately/short notice.
Day To Day Activities
- Design high quality digital content for our brand platforms such as editorial, internal & external brand communications, quarterly campaigns and core brand initiatives.
- Work closely with other creative and marketing peers to conceptualise ideas & translate concepts into exceptional and effective visual directions.
- Collaborating with other creative peers with a vision of elevating the work together through craft excellence.
- Ability to explore and execute visual directions based on requirements and collaborate with different departments to ensure consistency of designs across deliverables.
- Provide creative & design support for photography & film production.
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
- Share knowledge, experience and inspiration on the latest design trends and technology.
Who We Are Looking For
- Diploma/Degree in Visual Design / Communication or related studies.
- Exceptional sense of brand experience and design.
- Strong understanding of design thinking and principles.
- A digital native who is curious with a collaborative mindset, you are also a student who is not afraid to experiment and enjoys working with and learning from people.
- Organised, motivated and independent conceptual thinker.
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas.
- Flexible and able to adapt working style based on the specific needs of projects.
- Good proficiency with visual design tools ie Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
- Proficiency with any motion design tools (ie Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects) is a plus.
