Job description for Goods and Services Procurement South Asia Intern at Arkema Pte Ltd
What you will do:
Managing Request for Quotations (RFQ) Activities via BravoSolution
- Source and prequalify potential vendors
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the quotations received are in line with technical/commercial specifications
- Negotiate with suppliers for best prices and lead-time
- Presentation of proposed vendor to nomination committee stakeholders
- Evaluate performance of vendors
Use of Procurement Tools
- Manage Vendor Data on SAP
- Convert Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO) on SAP
- Update savings achieved on the Saving Declaration Tool (SDT)
Spearhead Corporate Sustainability Investment Initiatives for the Region
- Retrieve and analyze assets performance data various sites
- Suggest action plan to implement energy / maintenance / operational cost savings
- Understand subsidies program country by country in South Asia
- Promote the program within South Asia internal teams and seek stakeholders support
- Promote the program to external vendors and get them to register and be audited
Assist in Implementation of Digitalisation and Predictive Maintenance Roadmap
- Establish clear road map of implementation
- Perform market intelligence and present main actor / technologies available
Assist in Standardization of Equipment:
- Connect with sites in South Asia in view of rationalizing install base of equipment toward one common standard
- Link with technical team in head office to prepare road map and suitable specification/RFQ.

Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business
- Year of Study: Year 2-4
- Commit to a 5-6 months full-time internship from December 2022/January 2023 onwards
- Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment
