Your mandate
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to organise our company’s day-to-day accounting procedures.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organisational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.
Your key responsibilities
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
- Track and reconcile bank statements
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
- Record and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Review and process reimbursements
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
- Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Process tax payments
- Manage monthly payroll and keep organised records
- Organise and maintain personnel records
- Update internal employee databases
Attributes we require of you
- Proven work experience in a similar role
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
- Understanding of the Singapore Employment Act
- Solid knowledge of Singapore accounting regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Time-management and organisation skills
- Confidentiality
