Job description for Finance Intern at PT Karoten Asia Pasifik
We are looking for a Finance Intern to organize our company’s day-to-day accounting procedures. Finance Intern responsibilities include maintaining records for all transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and processing reimbursements. If you have a background in Finance and knowledge of bookkeeping activities, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will help us manage and allocate our resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create, update and keep records of daily transactions, invoices and payments
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping and data entry tasks
- Create financial and inventory reports
- Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies
- Keep an organized file system
- Review and process reimbursements
- Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates
- Participate in Stock Opname process
- Help Management to prepare accounting documents and records of all old transactions
- Responsible for the creation of student invoices in accordance with student attendance
- Other related task or based on Management request
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
- Time-management and organization skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a team environment and with upper management
- High level of critical thinking and logical analysis
- Confidentiality
