Siklus is reinventing the future of retail through a marketplace that allows micro-entrepreneurs to sell FMCG products without plastic packaging, using technology. Our mobile Warungs go around low-income neighborhoods. Customers bring their own containers or use our customized ones to purchase refills of basic household products such as shampoo and coffee at a discount. Through our mobile warungs, proprietary dispensing technology, and app, Siklus will generate cost savings for customers, new revenue opportunities for micro-entrepreneurs, fine-grained data for FMCGs, and environmental benefits by eliminating the need for single-use sachets. As such, we are the new way to Warung: mobile, sustainable, and tech-driven.
We have run a pilot with very promising results, closed our pre-seed round with investment from Teja Ventures, the CCO of GoJek, the CEO of Zenius amongst others. We're selected for funding from P4G, USAID, and the Incubation Network’s Plastics Data Challenge, and have exciting partnerships with four major FMCGs.
We seek a Finance & Accounting intern to help our Finance & Accounting Lead in setting up our accounting system, formalize bookkeeping and inventory management to organize and structurize our business operations. You will focus your efforts on supporting our finance team as we offer a fast-paced, non-hierarchical environment with a direct line of communication to our CEO & Founder.
This is an exciting role that offers a lot of learning and development, as you will be helping to shape the foundation of our financial and accounting system.
Record, validate, and reconcile financial transactions.
Review incoming invoices on related services.
Support in cash management and banking matters.
Assist in generating financial reports on timely basis.
Assist with preparation of tax documents.
Since we are an early-stage start-up you will also be required to work on other tasks that may arise.

Who you are and who we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
You are willing to learn and up-skill yourself in Accounting, Finance, and Tax. Prior knowledge of all three is preferred.
It will be a huge plus if you have got experience using an accounting software similar to Jurnal.ID and can easily navigate your way around the platform.
You are passionate about impact, especially impactful solutions that contribute to a greener environment
You are a true hustler who can find solutions and work independently
Your friends describe you as someone who pays a lot of attention to details, process-oriented, and has a knack of deciding what to prioritize by when
You are fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
You are willing to work from our Tebet HQ at least 2-3 days per week.
You have a personal laptop which you don't mind using for work.
