Job description for Finance, Accounting & Tax Officer at Room Studio
As Finance, Accounting & Tax Staff, you will run the full financial cycle of the business. from daily accounting and tax compliance to the reporting that shows how the company is actually performing. you must keep the books accurate, and turn those numbers into clear, timely information that management can act on.
We are looking for someone strong in both halves of the job: the disciplined, detailed execution of accounting and tax, and the analytical thinking that turns records into insight such as cash-flow visibility, project profitability, and a finance workflow that is efficient. You will be our sole finance seat, reporting directly to the CEO. Full-time, based in Greater Jakarta.
Responsibilities
-ensure smooth operations of finance, accounting, and taxation in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
-Run the day-to-day accounting cycle: AR/AP, journals, ledgers, bank reconciliation, and petty cash
-Manage accounts receivable and payable, including progress-based project invoicing and vendor payments.
-Prepare weekly cash-flow reports, account reconciliations, profit & loss statements, balance sheets and forecasts of each project's funding needs.
-Manage and ensure timely tax compliance through full cycle: PPh 21, 23, Final 4(2), PPN, and other related taxes through e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and DJP Online.
-Coordinate with external and internal tax consultants, auditors for financial and tax audits
-Process payroll, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Kesehatan, and THR.
-Work with the QS and project leads to report cost and profitability per project.
-Produce timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) that give management a clear view of company health.
-Keep financial records orderly, and continuously simplify how the workflow runs.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
-Minimum 3 years in a finance and accounting role; experience in contractor, construction, or interior is a strong plus.
-Strong analytical skills, able to turn records into insight that management can act on.
-Efficient and organised, with a talent for simplifying complicated processes.
-Solid command of Indonesian tax regulations, and hands-on with e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and DJP Online.
-Proficient in accounting software (Mekari Jurnal,SAP, Accurate, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-Detail-oriented and dependable with deadlines, particularly tax filing dates.
-Comfortable working independently as the sole owner of the function, reporting directly to the CEO.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
-Brevet A/B is a plus.
