About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of transmission networks and fibre broadband systems. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work and are keen to grow in the telecommunications industry.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
· Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain transmission network equipment and fibre broadband systems
· Install and configure network devices and related services
· Perform routine and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal network performance
· Diagnose and resolve network faults in a timely manner
· Support project implementation and daily operational activities
· Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
· Provide both onsite and remote technical support
· Assist stakeholders with ad hoc technical requests
· Participate in scheduled night work and 24/7 standby rotation when required
The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:
· Basic understanding of telecommunication systems
· Familiarity with consumer and enterprise networking equipment is an advantage
· Fibre optics experience is highly preferred
· Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Responsible, responsive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
· Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
· Class 3 driving licence is preferred
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
