The Facilities Management Executive is a member of the team responsible for the general repairs and maintenance of the Singapore real estate facility portfolio. This includes the all areas of the building but excluding the engineering services and operational manufacturing areas classified as clean rooms and areas requiring professional validation for operation, which fall under the responsibility of the Facility Engineering team. The facilities Management Executive will support the Building Maintenance Manager in ensuring the effective functioning of a facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the organization. This position will coordinate outside contractors or vendors for various services.
Description
- Manage day to day building maintenance activities and site services
- Includes building maintenance (interior/exterior) and ensure all building services, work environment are in good, safe, healthy and clean condition
- Troubleshoot root causes of equipment breakdown
- Attend and address feedback from respective departments
- Perform inspection rounds, routine checksand manual data logging for facilities systems
- Maintain good management in Facilities, ensure good safety practices and also safe custody of keys, tools, documentation, equipment and other properties belonging to Facilities
- Support and oversee project management for the facility refurbishment, renovations and maintenance records to ensure timelineness, correctness and completion in good quality
- Supervise and direct the subcontractors of building maintenance and the work forces engaged in performing all site building maintenance and/or remodeling projects to follow all related company process procedures with regards to the fundamental guidelines of EHS and Security
- Assist with maintaining building security and respond to building emergency situations on a 24-hour basis with damage evaluations and timely reporting with recommended action plans for employee safety and the property
- Assist with Covid-19 compliance to regulatory requirements and updated timely
- Well versed in handling Soft services (e.g landscaping, security, cleaning)
- Participate in Quality and EHS audits
- Work alongside the Facility Engineering team with regards to maintenance and remodeling projects for the new site operational activities
- Perform other ad hoc maintenance duties as assigned by Building Maintenance Manager
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: Facility Management or related Diploma
- 0-2 years of work experience related to facility management, project management, vendor management is preferred
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in building management are welcome to apply
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Construction technology, construction statutory compliance requirements, building defect analysis, would be an advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, SAP and facility related regulatory requirements
- A team player, able to work hands-on with good interpersonal skills
- Familiar with FMCS systems will be a plus
