Education Operations & Growth Coordinator

Chinese Learning Buddy Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-registered education technology company dedicated to developing practical online learning and teaching solutions.

We currently operate two education platforms:

Chinese Learning Buddy – a digital Chinese learning platform primarily designed for students in Singapore.

Online Tutor Alliance – an online education platform connecting tutors and learners through one-to-one lessons, small-group live classes and recorded courses.

We are currently expanding the operations of Online Tutor Alliance and are looking for a proactive, bilingual Education Operations & Growth Coordinator to support the platform's day-to-day operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from students, parents and tutors through WhatsApp, email and social media

• Follow up with prospective students and parents regarding classes and enrolment

• Assist tutors with registration, profile completion and course setup

• Support tutor recruitment and initial screening

• Follow up with tutors and help encourage suitable course launches

• Assist with the promotion of tutors, group classes and recorded courses

• Support social media planning and basic digital marketing activities

• Track leads, enrolments, tutor applications and follow-up status

• Help maintain smooth day-to-day platform operations

• Identify practical opportunities to improve user growth and engagement

• Provide simple weekly updates on operations and performance

Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese

• Comfortable communicating with parents, students, tutors and our team in both languages

• Diploma or equivalent qualification

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred

• Strong communication, customer service and follow-up skills

• Organised, proactive and able to work independently

• Comfortable using WhatsApp, social media, Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools

• Experience in education, tuition centres, EdTech, student enrolment, customer service, sales, marketing or platform operations would be an advantage

Working Arrangement

• Part-time

• Fully remote

• Flexible working hours

• Initial workload is expected to be relatively light and will grow gradually with the platform

Compensation

The role offers a monthly base allowance plus performance-based incentives / revenue sharing.

As Online Tutor Alliance grows, the responsibilities, working hours and compensation of the role may also increase. For the right candidate, there is potential to grow into a larger operations role in the future.

We are looking for someone who is not only interested in completing individual tasks, but who is willing to grow together with an early-stage education platform and gradually take greater responsibility for its operations.
