Job description for Distribution Business Manager at Avepoint Singapore Pte Ltd
Overview
Are you looking for a role where you can build a brand and channel business from the ground up? This position is your opportunity to help drive and accelerate our fast-growing AvePoint Elements partner business through working with distributors, managed services partners, and VARs.
What will you be doing?
As a Channel Business Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with distributors to execute on a partner recruitment strategy to grow and optimize channel partner breadth with the right coverage, capacity, and capabilities
- Helping build and maintain our relationship with our regional distributors who sell the AvePoint Elements product line to partners
- Build out and execute revenue generating distributor and partner business plans, develop pipeline, accurately forecast
- Help enable our MSPs and VARs in the field to create go-to-market strategies, close business, and create partner loyalty through partner success best practices
- Co-sell and drive product promotions with our distribution partners
- Deliver high level presentations to our MSPs and VARs
- Uncover new revenue generating opportunities at both the distribution and partner levels
- Attend events, workshops, and represent AvePoint and the channel team in the field

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:
- 5-7 years in business development, partner management, or B2B enterprise technology sales
- Understanding of IT industry trends including the shift to Cloud Computing and Digital Transformation, channel transformation, and Public Cloud Marketplaces.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technology, specifically including Office365 and SharePoint and partner ecosystem
- Relationships with Microsoft CSPs and Cloud partners is a plus
- Previous work at a technology distributor, LSP, or managed services provider a bonus, or ISV in a partner facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take complex situations and simplify them
