Job description for Digital Assets Research Intern at Treehouse Labs
We are looking for a Digital Assets Research Intern who is comfortable with cryptocurrencies and wishes to gain more experience working in a Blockchain start-up. The candidate will work with the company's research team and help contribute to external publications and internal processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Keep up-to-date with DeFi news and announcements and provide the team with weekly updates.
- Conduct detailed competitor analysis and structure insightful and actionable recommendations on our competitor’s positioning, product development, and how they onboard users.
- Develop surveys and evaluate outputs to identify data-driven product development opportunities and pricing strategies.
- Source for DeFi opportunities and alpha strategies; Comfortable writing market commentary.
- Help conceptualize a metric/standard for DeFi portfolio analytics and protocol fundamental & comparative analysis.
- Participate in all company meetings / calls & document minutes.
Requirements
- Experience in trading DeFi
- Able to commit from December 2022 to April 2023
- Full-time commitment preferred but open to part-time interns as well
- Undergraduate student (2nd - 4th year)
- Good understanding of global markets
- Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
- Meticulous and analytical thinker
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with APIs
- Strong work ethics, detail oriented and a passion for excellence
