Job description for DevOps Engineer at PT Eka Nusantara Gemilang
We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing IT team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and managing modern cloud infrastructure, developing automated pipelines, and ensuring our systems run efficiently, securely, and at scale.
What You'll Do:
- Build and manage modern cloud infrastructure and automated pipelines (CI/CD, Cloud Deployment, etc.)
- Design, develop, and implement efficient DevOps solutions to support software development
- Support engineering teams with CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and release processes
- Automate infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and scaling
- Ensure cloud system security, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
- Build monitoring and logging systems to ensure application reliability
- Collaborate with developers to design and deliver infrastructure solutions
- Manage cloud resources in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, etc.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
- Assist with application and data migration to cloud environments
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, database, networking, load balancing, auto-scaling)
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Proficient in Python, Bash, or other scripting/programming languages
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes (containerization and orchestration)
- Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud security concepts & version control (Git)
- Familiar with SQL/NoSQL databases and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in teams
- Leadership skills to manage a team and deliver user-ready solutions
