Job description for Design Marketing Intern at DTC World Corporation
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end creative process, including concept ideation, brainstorming, design development, and execution, under the guidance of the Creative Manager and Creative Designer.
- Develop, adapt, and prepare final artwork (FA) for production, including colour proofing, artwork vetting, and pre-production checks, to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and production readiness.
- Contribute to product and merchandise design projects by creating visually engaging and functional designs that align with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and production requirements.
- Provide creative and design support to the Marketing team, including:
- Product and lifestyle photography
- Photo retouching and image editing
- Graphic layouts and visual assets for social media, digital platforms, and marketing materials
- Added advantage: Assist with basic video editing or motion content where required (e.g. social media content or simple promotional visuals)
- Support ongoing projects and campaigns by handling ad-hoc design-related tasks and creative requests as required by the business.
Qualifications: - At least a Diploma in Visual Communications or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with a well-developed sense of visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction well.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and any video editing knowledge would be good as well).
- Passion for design and a proactive attitude towards learning and improvement.
