Edited Homes is a digital-first interior styling studio that helps expats, homeowners, and renters design beautiful, ready-to-style homes using curated furniture packages, moodboards, and streamlined digital workflows. We're growing fast and looking for a meticulous, design-obsessed intern to support our co-founder, Priya, with design and sourcing.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for a proactive Design & Sourcing Intern to support day-to-day styling work, five days a week. No professional experience required—just strong visual taste, attention to detail, and comfort working with digital tools and generative AI. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate in interior design, architecture, or a related field looking for hands-on studio experience.
You'll help source furniture, create mood boards, and prepare client-ready documents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Furniture Sourcing
– Research and shortlist furniture, décor, lighting, and accessories across multiple vendors
– Compare price, dimensions, material, and availability
– Maintain updated lists and vendor references
2. Moodboard Creation (Canva)
– Assist Priya in creating clean, on-brand moodboards for each room
– Arrange images, update colour palettes, ensure visual consistency
– Export and organise files neatly for client delivery
3. Sourcing Sheet Preparation (Google Sheets / CSV)
– Extract product URLs, prices, and specifications accurately
– Deduplicate links and organise items by category, room, vendor, and budget
– Follow Edited Homes' sourcing sheet structure and naming conventions
4. Generative AI Support
– Use ChatGPT or similar AI tools to speed up research, compile product lists, draft descriptions, and organise information
– Assist in transforming raw data or PDFs into clean moodboards and sourcing sheets using AI-assisted workflows
– Stay curious about new AI tools that improve productivity and creativity
5. General Design Support
– Gather references and inspiration images for projects
– Help prepare final client deliverables
6. Space Planning & Site Support
– Assist with creating floor plans and space layouts using SketchUp or similar design software
– Support on-site measurements of spaces within the project scope and accurately document dimensions for design and space planning
– Support on-site styling sessions
WHO YOU ARE
– Currently studying (or recently graduated) in interior design, architecture, fine arts, or a related field
– Passionate about interiors, furniture, and styling
– Strong eye for aesthetics and visual consistency
– Comfortable with Canva, Google Sheets, and generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT)
– Detail-oriented and organised—accuracy is crucial
– Fast learner, responsible and reliable
– Able to commit 5 days a week
– Bonus: Familiarity with SketchUp or similar design software, and furniture brands in Singapore (not required)
