Derivatives Trading Executive (2 positions open)
Fluent in Mandarin (to liaise with China counterparties/clients)
Job Description & Requirements
• Execute derivatives and forward/future contracts and/or other financial products trading instructions.
• Collect and organize information related to assigned product and establish database to evaluate the market fundamentally and technically by following up supply, demand, global/regional geo-political developments and market dynamics.
• Conduct research, analysis, and prepare regular reports on assigned products on daily and weekly basis to develop position-taking strategies on key markets.
• Maintain real-time trading portfolio position to facilitate contracts pricing and portfolio valuation.
• Reconcile executed derivatives trades with broker statements and confirmations on daily basis.
• Maintain accurate reporting of derivative transactions and results.
• Monitor margin calls/excess cash related to derivatives and work with finance team to optimize positions across brokers to minimize cash utilization.
• Leverage AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance algorithmic trading, automated trade execution, market analysis, strategy development, and backtesting.
• Handling reports and performing assistant functions
• Participate company internal meeting, oversea training and undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in finance, economics, math or a related field
• Possesses strong interest in financial markets.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of futures and options.
