Job description for Data Center System Operation at PT. Ebdesk Teknologi
We are looking for Fresh Graduates who are passionate about IT infrastructure and eager to start their career as a Data Center System Operation.
This role is suitable for candidates who have basic technical knowledge, strong learning mindset, and interest in data center operations.
🛠 Job Responsibilities
- Assist daily operations and monitoring of Data Center systems
- Perform basic system checks and operational tasks (Daily Check)
- Support installation and configuration of servers and operating systems (Linux & Windows)
- Assist in basic troubleshooting for server, OS, and network issues
- Help manage and monitor system logs
- Work closely with senior engineers and follow operational procedures
- Document activities, incidents, and progress reports
🔧 Basic Technical Knowledge (Must Have)
- Basic understanding of Linux command
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware (PC/Laptop assembly is a plus)
- Fundamental understanding of networking (IP, DNS, basic routing)
- Basic understanding of server concepts
- Basic scripting ability in Python / JavaScript
- Web server basics (Nginx – Virtual Host)
📚 Nice to Learn / Will Be Trained
- Load balancing & High Availability (HAProxy, Keepalived)
- Log management tools (Elasticsearch & Kibana)
- Data flow & messaging systems (Nifi, Kafka)
- Basic QA/QC concepts and system testing
- Version control using Git / GitLab
🎓 Qualifications
- Fresh Graduate or entry-level candidate
- Minimum education: SMK / D3 / S1 (IT or related field)
- Willing to work on-site and shift-based schedule
- Strong willingness to learn and good attitude
- Able to work in a team and follow instructions well
