Job description for Cost Accountant at Aztech Technologies Pte Ltd
The finance team is an integral part of the organisation in enabling operations and furnishing financial strategies. We are hiring for a Cost Accountant, who will be responsible for accounting, analysis and reporting to support the management in improving internal costs and efficiency.
Job Description
- Responsible for inventory and COGS accounting (standard cost updates, annual cost roll and transfer prices)
- Support month end close activities, accurate month end closing, and financial reporting (P&L).
- Perform input checks and reconciliation of payables and receivables (AP / AR)
- Analyse P&L and balance sheet accounts to understand the main cost elements of the business, and the impact of cost adjustments
- Generate reports and forecasts of payment schedules/ process.
- Actively support in costing for new products/projects and any other ad-hoc projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience with costing related background
- Must have a working understanding of the different techniques used to evaluate a product's cost such as the standard and traditional methods
- Independent and able to work well in a team environment, possess good interpersonal skills
- Analytical and self-motivated, able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, prior experience in Oracle will be advantageous
