Job description for Corporate Compliance Intern at Oakwood & Drehem Capital
- Draft and review corporate secretarial documents based on the instructions given by the company
- Record keeping such as update minutes/notes of meeting and documentary record
- Communicate with relevant persons (clients/ partners/ etc.) in relation to the execution of the above corporate secretarial documents
- Continuously carry out the Compliance Monitoring Programme and maintaining the necessary compliance files and registers
- Plan and conduct functional, and cross-functional working sessions to develop target state process models. Improvising or streamlining existing process for better efficiency and delivering process streamlining & productivity improvements, while minimizing risk.
- General administrative duties such as office operation and security; maintenance and upkeep of communication and record keeping facilities – hardware and software
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management as well as work closely with potential business partners
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: Account Payables & Acccount Receivables process, General Ledger, account reconciliation, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control procedures and accuracy of the financial data.
- Perform ad-hoc projects when required
