Job description for Copywriter at Mag Sg Pte Ltd
Key responsibilities:
- Conceptualise independently
- Write, edit and proof read advertising copy for all marketing collaterals, social media posts, new media and annual reports
- Conceptualise and scripting for TVC and Videos
- Write copy in long form, especially brochures and websites
- Participate in new business pitches and work on existing accounts
- Ready to try UX writing
- Handle multiple accounts at the same time with reasonably tight deadlines at times.
Key requirements:
- At least 1 years' experience as a copywriter in a design boutique, digital, creative or advertising agency.
- A relevant recognised bachelor degree, diploma from a local polytechnic or GCE 'A' level. Fresh Graduates with strong passion in advertising and want to develop a career in a creative agency are also welcome to apply.
- Wildly creative with strong conceptual and ideation ability.
- Outstanding command of English with a love for writing.
- Your headlines should grab attention and stop the earth from turning.
- Your copy will make one laugh, smile or cry.
- You are a word-smith who likes to play with words, loves writing with lots of style and yet your words, coupled with your concept must be able to persuade the target audience to buy the products.
- Good understanding of the advertising and digital marketing fundamentals.
- You must not only write but being able to crystallise your idea to your art director or designer is equally important.
- Having worked on property, automotive, financial, government and FMCG accounts will be preferred but it is not compulsory.
- Meticulous and yet fast.
- Hungry, ambitious, passionate and energetic.
- A down-to-earth, team player
- Experience in content creation and social media strategy
