Job description for Contract Administrator at Wilhelmsen Ships Service (S) Pte Ltd
We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our Ships Agency division.
In Ships Agency, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
The Contract Administrator will report to Contract Administration Manager.
Required experience and skills :
- Diploma in Business Administration or similar discipline.
- Excellent communication skill.
- High level of accuracy in work.
- Computer literate.
- Able to resolve problems.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for checking disbursement accounts (DAs) based on the guidelines presented by the Principal and within the Ships Agency SOPs.
- Appointment Acknowledgement and job creation in Virtual Agent.
- Check DAs on accuracy towards the Principal’s guidelines and contract terms.
- Contact the Local Agents regarding PDAs, RDAs, FDAs (required changes), SDAs which need to be created.
- Send PDAs, RDAs (if required), FDAs, SDAs to the Principal.
- Coordinate, create and forward Statement of Account (SOA) to Principal (West only).
- Follow up with customers regarding payments on a regular basis. (East and West). Seek advice from SA Credit on best approach. Escalate to Global Agent where required.
