Role Purpose
Looking for short-term content strategy intern who will support in content strategy development and campaign performance reporting for JBN’s accounts.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in the development of ongoing content strategies and plans based on the objectives defined in the project brief
- Assist in the audit of content and channels of the brand and its competitors as identified by the client following JBN’s audit method
- Use tools JBN subscribe into such as SEMRush, Nuvi and CCS/M1 in running keyword research, topic research, social listening, audience psychographic behaviour research, etc. and generate insights that will help in crafting the strategy
- Conduct category research using Google Trends, Facebook Insights and other publicly available research platforms and materials to generate insights that will help in crafting the strategy
- Help define the content gap(s) and formulate recommendations on how to address them
- Use defined strategic principles and roll-out plans to help the creative and copy teams to come up with content ideas.
- Generate and interpret data from Google Analytics and other reporting platforms and come up with recommendations on how to further optimise the brand’s content
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Highly strategic, analytical, and creative thinker
- Exceptional attention to detail and skilled in organising and presenting data and information
- Demonstrable ability to manage time effectively
- At least intermediate level Microsoft Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel
- Passionate in content/storytelling

LEARNING OUTCOMES
MONTH 0-1:
- Be able to learn and use the research tools and platforms (SEMRush, Nuvi, Google Analytics, Google Trends, Facebook Insights, CCS/M1, etc.)
- Be able to manage deliverables and timeline properly
MONTH 1-3:
- Be able to organise, analyse, and present data and information using PowerPoint and/or Excel
- Be able to generate insights and articulate strategy and plans
- Be able to develop reports with sound recommendations
MONTH 4-6:
- Be able to confidently present strategy, plans, and reports to the internal team
- Attend client meetings where appropriate and be able to accurately identify next steps and required work
