Job description for Content Media Executive at Buymed
Circa Pharmacy takes pride in being a dependable pharmacy chain that strives to establish a healthcare ecosystem, offer a comprehensive care system, and provide customers with top-notch products and a wide range of healthcare services.
Looking ahead to 2025, our vision is to expand to 2,400 pharmacies and enhance medical treatment services by digitizing them. We aim to develop user-friendly applications that enable online interaction with doctors for consultations and prescription services at our pharmacies.
Job Description
- Content Creation: Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content related to medical topics for the Circa. This includes researching and writing articles, blog posts, social media content, and other forms of digital content
- Medical Research: Conduct thorough research on medical conditions, treatments, healthcare trends, and related topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the content. Utilize reputable sources and medical literature to support content creation
- Content Optimization: Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve visibility and organic rankings on search engines. Implement relevant keywords, meta tags, and other SEO best practices to attract organic traffic
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy. Ensure that all content adheres to Circa’s style guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice
- Content Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of content strategies to meet the marketing and engagement goals of Circa
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content efforts with overall brand messaging and objectives
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media accounts by creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media trends and conversations related to medical topics
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, medical professionals, and subject matter experts to gather insights, validate content accuracy, and ensure alignment with brand messaging
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as journalism, communications, or a healthcare- related discipline
- Proven experience in content creation and copywriting, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry
- Strong research skills and the ability to understand and translate complex medical information into clear and accessible content for a non-technical audience
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail
