Job description for content marketing intern at Randstad Pte Limited

Randstad is a global leader in the human resources services industry and we specialise in recruitment, talent management and human resources solutions. The marketing & communications team at Randstad Singapore supports the regional Southeast Asian business (Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong SAR) in providing data-driven insights on the labour market and talent trends to some of the world’s largest companies and coolest startups.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, self-driven content digital marketing Intern to join our marketing team. If you’re creative, web ninja, gung-ho and a social butterfly, you’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful global and local projects as well as gain exposure to the media and social media landscape.

Applicants need to be able to commit to six months of internship.

job scope

  • Work with specialists on SEO and content marketing to create quality and engaging content about topics related to the labour market, employer branding and candidate advice
  • Optimise past content using new information gathered in SEO research
  • Improve organic search engine performance and campaign goals based on ongoing performance of clickthrough rates, traffic and conversions
  • Create new social content to promote web content and drive traffic through search, social media and email marketing
  • Grow our social subscribers base through multi-pronged content marketing to boost brand awareness and engagement with our audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO, social media and digital marketing

requirements

  • Foundation knowledge or has had prior internship experience working with content optimisation and key algorithm updates (e.g. keywords research & analysis, meta-attributes and on-page optimisation)
  • Basic knowledge and interest in common web platforms, marketing platforms and social listening tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Console, Answerthepublic, Semrush, Hubspot, etc), as well as design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Social media junkie who knows the different social tribes for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Quick learner who listens and asks questions
  • A positive disposition and able to play well with others
  • Go-getter who possess strong initiative and pays great attention to details
  • Strong command of English with outstanding writing skills
