Location: Singapore — on-site

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Experience level: Mid-Senior level

About Financial PR

Sino-Lion Communications Pte Ltd (Financial PR) is an award-winning investor relations specialist with a regional presence across Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Established in 2001, we help listed and privately owned companies design and execute strategic investor relations programmes and communicate effectively with the investment community. Our work is supported by sector-focused expertise in finance and investing, and extensive contacts across the media and investment community.

About the Role

The Senior Consultant manages a portfolio of listed and pre-IPO clients as their day-to-day senior contact, and works directly with management teams to shape and deliver their investor relations programmes. You will lead accounts independently, guide the associates and consultants supporting them, and take responsibility for the quality of what the team produces.

This suits someone who has been running client relationships in investor relations, financial public relations, or a related field and is ready to step up in scope and visibility, with a clear path towards fuller portfolio and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the senior day-to-day contact for an assigned group of clients, advising management teams on investor relations, corporate positioning, and market communications

• Develop and execute annual investor relations roadmaps, including investor targeting and engagement strategies for analysts, investors, and media

• Support clients on results announcements, corporate actions, and market-sensitive events, and help them navigate disclosure obligations under SGX listing rules alongside their legal and compliance advisers

• Review communication collateral prepared by the team, including corporate presentations, factsheets, press releases, Q&A materials, and annual and quarterly reports, and take the lead on the most senior or complex pieces

• Plan and oversee investor meetings, conferences, briefings, roadshows, and media interviews

• Maintain strong client relationships and account health, working with project leaders on scope and delivery

• Guide and review the work of associates and consultants on your accounts, maintaining quality standards across deliverables

• Mentor junior colleagues in financial analysis, writing, and client handling

• Help plan workload and priorities across the accounts you lead

• Build and maintain networks across the media, the investment community, and professional intermediaries

• Contribute to new business efforts, including research, proposals, and pitch materials

• Support group-level corporate projects and service development in areas such as sustainability and ESG communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field

• Minimum five years of relevant experience, with a track record of managing client relationships or supporting an in-house investor relations function

• Background in investor relations, financial public relations, equity research or analysis, financial journalism, audit, or corporate communications

• Sound understanding of capital markets, financial statements, and the disclosure obligations of listed companies, with familiarity with SGX listing rules an advantage

• Confidence advising senior executives on financial, investment, and communications matters

• Experience reviewing or mentoring junior colleagues

• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple accounts

• Professional fluency in written and spoken English. Working proficiency in Mandarin is useful, as some clients and stakeholders communicate in Chinese.

• Knowledge of sustainability reporting and ESG principles is an advantage
