We are recruiting construction professionals, skilled tradespeople, contractors, and experienced DIYers for a flexible paid video recording project.
Using our app and a phone head mount, you will record first-person (POV) videos while performing real construction, repair, or renovation tasks and talk through what you are doing step by step.
🎙️ Show Us What You Do — and Talk Us Through It
Imagine you are teaching someone who cannot see what you are doing.
As you work, narrate the entire process. Tell us:
- What you are building, installing, or repairing
- What tools and materials you are using
- What you are doing at each step
- What you see, feel, hear, or notice
- What you are measuring, marking, cutting, or positioning
- Why you are doing something a certain way
- How you decide which tool or material to use
- What you are checking for as you work
- How you know something is level, aligned, secure, or properly installed
- What problems you encounter and how you solve them
- What safety precautions you are taking
- What you are going to do next
For example:
“I am measuring the opening before I make the cut. I need this piece to fit between these two points, so I am marking the measurement here. Before cutting, I am checking the measurement one more time…”
You do not need to sound scripted or formal. Just talk naturally and continuously as you work.

You can record yourself performing many different types of construction and skilled trade tasks, including:
- Measuring, marking, and laying out materials
- Cutting and assembling materials
- Carpentry and woodworking
- Framing
- Drywall installation and repair
- Painting and surface preparation
- Flooring installation
- Tile work
- Installing cabinets, shelves, doors, or trim
- Installing fixtures and hardware
- Caulking, sealing, and finishing
- Basic plumbing-related work
- Basic electrical-related work
- Home repairs and maintenance
- Remodeling and renovation
- Furniture or structure assembly
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Preparing and organizing a workspace
- Inspecting completed work
- Troubleshooting and correcting mistakes
- Cleaning up and maintaining tools
- Other construction, repair, installation, or skilled trade tasks
The goal is not simply to show us the work. We want you to talk us through the entire process step by step.
What You Need
✓ Experience with construction, skilled trades, repairs, renovation, or hands-on DIY work
✓ Comfortable talking continuously while you work
✓ Smartphone
✓ Phone head mount (may be provided)
✓ Approximately 10 hours available for the assignment
We provide training, detailed recording instructions, and sample videos showing exactly what we are looking for.
English narration is preferred.

**You must be 18 or older. Only perform tasks you have the experience, training, and authorization to perform. Follow appropriate workplace and equipment safety procedures. Do not record customers, license plates, personal information, computer screens containing private information, or confidential workplace information. Application does not guarantee selection. Compensation is based on approved qualifying videos and hours that meet assignment requirements.
