Level: Middle/Senior/Leader
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform project estimation and planning based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate project execution and assign tasks to team members.
- Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to Junior and Mid-level engineers.
- Design highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure architectures.
- Possess hands-on knowledge of at least two major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and implement Kubernetes platforms for production environments.
- Prepare principal technical documentation, including Basic Design and Detailed Design documents.
- Build and review Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and conduct code reviews for team members.
- Standardize and maintain reusable infrastructure modules and templates across projects.
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and establish technical guidelines and best practices within the team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Devops/Cloud Engineer or minimum 2 years of experience in a DevOps Sen - Lead or Cloud Engineer Lead role.
- Proven experience working on long-term projects with Japanese clients, with a strong understanding of Japanese working standards, particularly in:
- Documentation: Ability to create, maintain, and manage well-structured, comprehensive technical documentation.
- Documentation Review: Capable of reviewing and refining documentation prepared by team members before delivering it to clients.
- Strong ability to present and communicate technical concepts clearly and logically through documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentation slides for internal discussions or to support BrSEs in client communications.
- English: Strong reading and technical documentation writing skills (Mandatory)
Nice-to-have:
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure, CKAD/CKA, Terraform Associate, etc.).
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security best practices.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service portals.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese
