Job description for Chief Venture Scout at Reactor School
- Alumni & Engagement Manager
- Business Development & Partnerships Manager
- Startup Incubation Programme Manager
- Work closely with universities, incubators, accelerators, angel networks and venture capital firms from all over the world.
- Build and manage the Scouting Team in the APAC region, with a primary focus on ASEAN.
- Be responsible for project planning and execution.
- Take a key role in building and implementing global scouting processes.
- Provide work-in-progress reports.
- Scout the world for the best and most relevant startups.
- Engage in due diligence to assess the top startups.
- Coordinate with startups.
- Optimise and iterate on our existing startup scouting processes.
- Self-Starter: You take charge and deliver on your own, acting both proactively and independently.
- Analytical & Metrics Driven: You should be proficient in data collection and analysis, including interviews, surveys, market reports. Comfortable with lean testing, analysis, and optimization.
- Multi-Tasker: Able to wear many hats, and able to juggle multiple projects.
- Highly-Organized: You are able to manage time, ensuring that deadlines are met and operations run effectively and efficiently. You show up, then follow-up.
- Personable: You are someone that friends love to work with repeatedly.
- Community Builder: You should be a super connector who enjoys introducing people and brokering win-win relationships. You should be great at finding ways into different communities and networks of Gen Z founders/VCs.

- Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must.
- Bonus Points: Relevant experience as an analyst/scout in a venture capital firm, innovation team or accelerator.
