Job description for Business Intern at DTC World Corporation
Objective:
Support the Project Team in ensuring smooth execution of merchandising and sourcing projects from quotation to delivery, while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support & Documentation
o Assist in sourcing ideas and product references for client proposals.
o Support price checks and costing preparation for simple or repeated items.
o Review samples and artworks for alignment with project specifications and timelines.
o Help arrange local/DHL sample shipments.
2. System Updates & Coordination
o Update Zoho CRM for enquiries, samples, and order status
o Support in tracking deadlines and deliverables, highlighting any risks or delays.
o Coordinate with internal teams (design, sales, logistics) to follow up on open tasks.
3. Supplier & Operations Support
o Help verify and compare supplier quotations (price/specs/approval status).
o Assist in identifying new suppliers
o Help compile supplier performance feedback and quality issues for internal review.
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain processes (preferred).
