Job description for Business Development Representative at Koku

This Business Development Executive is a sales role responsible for account management, client experience and revenue growth for Koku.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation, pitching to prospective clients, and client management
  • Networking and attending meet-ups/business events
  • Handle business referrals and web leads provided by Marketing or team members
  • Working closely with clients to find solutions for their requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree with min. 3 years of sales experience and managing accounts in the financial industry
  • Able to network broadly and effectively, and have a track record of negotiating and closing successfully
  • Utilizes consultative sales method to truly understand a client’s problem and come up with a solution
  • Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Chinese to liaise with Chinese associates will be considered a value add
  • Ability to work in a team environment to engage effectively with both clients and other functions in the company
  • A desire to work for a fast paced startup and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fluid and collaborative environment
  • Experience in FX and Cryptocurrencies (good to have)
