Job description for Business Development Representative at Koku
This Business Development Executive is a sales role responsible for account management, client experience and revenue growth for Koku.
Responsibilities:
- Lead generation, pitching to prospective clients, and client management
- Networking and attending meet-ups/business events
- Handle business referrals and web leads provided by Marketing or team members
- Working closely with clients to find solutions for their requirements
Requirements:
- Degree with min. 3 years of sales experience and managing accounts in the financial industry
- Able to network broadly and effectively, and have a track record of negotiating and closing successfully
- Utilizes consultative sales method to truly understand a client’s problem and come up with a solution
- Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Chinese to liaise with Chinese associates will be considered a value add
- Ability to work in a team environment to engage effectively with both clients and other functions in the company
- A desire to work for a fast paced startup and ability to adapt to a dynamic, fluid and collaborative environment
- Experience in FX and Cryptocurrencies (good to have)
