Nazava is a social enterprise that wants to provide safe and affordable drinking water to everybody everywhere. We sell the best and most afforable water filters that make PDAM, well and rain water ready to drink without the need to buy or boil water. We target especially low and middle income women. We are looking for a Business Developer that can expand our market and has experience in selling household goods to low and middle income women and a large network. This function can be done from Bandung or Jakarta.
● Finding and developing new markets and developing growth strategies.
● Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
● Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
● Assist team members in acquiring new prospects
● Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
● Developing goals for the account management team and business growth and ensuring
● Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
● Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
● Planning and preparing presentations
● Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
● Overseeing the development of marketing literature
● Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
● Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
● Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
● 3 years Experience in sales of household appliances that are primarily marketed to medium and low income women such as kitchen appliances, pressure pans, water purifiers (e.g. Pureit) . Note: experience in FMCG, medicine, tabacco or automative is not counted.
● Either experience in direct sales (door to door), group sales or sales to cooperatives or micro finance organizations (LKM, MFI)
● Large existing network of relevant companies or organizations that can be potential clients.
● Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
● Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
● Excellent organizational skills.
● Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
● Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
● Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
