Job description for Business Development Manager at Slash
- Develop/improve sales content
- Develop/improve all sales collateral and process
- Develop & maintain commercial partnership including with sales agents
- Retarget existing prospect inside CRM & LinkedIn
- Maintain sales pipeline in CRM, specifically on Master Appointments and Master Sales
- Monitor Request For Quotations (RFQs) opportunities with multilateral organizations
- Prepare quotations and RFQ for new clients
- Participate/lead sales meetings with tier 3 deals (< USD50K)
- Respond to sales related queries on website and other means
- Follow up with prospects (after first demo by CEO)
- Keep leads in CRM & LinkedIn warm (after first demo by CEO)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts of business development
- Excellent spoken and written English (Fluent or Native)
- Proactive, confident, doesn’t shy away from responsibility, take full ownership
- Analytical mind and abstract thinking; ability to structure problems
- MBTI: high iNtuition is preferred
- Commercial acumen with hustler skills
- Prior experience with IT services or consulting is desirable
- Ability to listen, present, negotiate, and influence all levels of the organization, including senior corporate decision makers
- 5 to 10 years of relevant sales and Business Development experience
- Demonstrable portfolio of previous sales experience for consulting and/or service companies (preferably IT/software development products)
- Proven experience in proposal writing, clients demos, key account management, and value driven client relationship building.
- Prior sales or founder experience is a bonus
- Keen for long term growth in the role with Slash and lead more negotiations in the future
