Job description for Business Development Intern at Gush
Job Scope:
As business development intern, you will assist the business development
manager/strategist to elevate the brand and positioning of gush through partnership and
collaborative efforts with different channel partners. Your job duties may include identifying
and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online
and via word-of-mouth, crafting and executing strategies together with your manager. The
goal of the internship is to gain valuable work experience and skills to start your career in
business development.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify trends and market opportunities in Singapore
2. Prospecting relationships with key partners that will extend and drive our business.
3. Lead exploratory discussions with potential partners for collaboration opportunities.
4. Assist in developing and executing business development strategies.
5. Manage LinkedIn platform and generate potential leads for partnerships
6. Conceptualize creative ideas and proposals tailored to individual projects.
7. Work closely with copywriter to create and curate content that aligns with target
audience on LinkedIn
8. Handle any ad-hoc tasks on the given time
Requirements:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, enjoys interacting and forming
relationships with partners
• Self-motivated to work proactively on tasks and able multi-task on several projects
• Ability to effectively prioritize workload in fast-paced environment
• Great team player
• Passion for disruptive companies is a plus
