Job description for Business Development and Sales Lead at Hoow Foods Pte. Ltd.
Hegg Foods is a subsidiary of Hoow Foods which focuses on developing novel sustainable plant-based egg products that address growing consumer demands for healthier plant-based alternatives that are environmentally-friendly.
We are looking for a Business Development and Sales Lead to manage the overall business development and key account management activities in Singapore, as well as other regions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the full sales process – from prospecting for new customer acquisition to building strong B2B partnerships and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, lead and close sales initiatives within existing account base and new prospects to meet/exceed set targets
- Build and manage relationships with all key contacts and prospective clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new business through proactive outreach, managing high volume of cold leads and targeted account mappings
- Identify new opportunities for growth and target strategic business accounts with personalised outreach
- Participate in pre-sales and post sales opportunities
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of sales experience (experience in full sales cycle including deal closing with demonstrated sales success)
- High customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of the F&B / HORECA / Food manufacturing industry and existing relationships / network (a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present
- Strong passion, initiative, and self-motivation - ability and confidence to work autonomously
- Ability to think laterally – be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude, pragmatic, and able to work independently when required
