Job description for Business Development and Marketing Intern at Glints
About Glints
At Glints, we are building the #1 full-stack tech-enabled career development and human resource ecosystem in Greater Southeast Asia. Our product offering spans across early career discovery, continuous skills development, and tech-enabled local and cross border recruitment.
Glints constantly seeks for new avenues to provide enhanced value for our clients. As such, we are looking to pioneer a new Business Unit (BU) and we are looking for an intern who will prospect, qualify, and convert leads for this growing segment. The intern is the first point of contact between leads and Glints, and will be responsible for bringing strategic insights back to the Special Projects team and work closely with Business Development Managers to convert leads into clients.
The ideal candidate is strategic, has a keen eye for understanding customer needs, and has an amazing work ethic. The role will be a part of the Special Projects team that will establish the sales and marketing processes for Glints’ new BU.

Job scope:
Prospect for new business by researching on companies that meet the criteria for prospective partnership with Glints
Develop ideal customer profiles for outbound prospecting
Qualify inbound leads
Drive marketing initiatives to increase the amount of inbound leads
Discover optimal marketing strategies with the use of A/B testing
Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, meetings set and networking
Synthesize key insights from conversations to guide the strategic direction of the project
Requirements:
Strong business acumen, strategic planning and problem solving skills
Empathy and the ability to connect with customers
Ability to thrive in ambiguity
Experience in user research
Proven track record of stakeholder management
Experience in Business Development is a plus
