Job description for BPM-SAP S/4HANA ABAP Payroll Migration & Development Specialist at PT Kairos Utama Indonesia
Role Description
- Supporting Business Process Management (BPM) initiatives through SAP S/4HANA ABAP application migration, enhancement, and development services, with a strong focus on payroll systems and Indonesia localization requirements.
- Manages technical design, custom program conversion, interface integration, system optimization, and production support to ensure seamless migration and reliable payroll operations aligned with business needs, compliance standards, and project timelines.
Role Responsibilities
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration projects by converting and remediating existing ABAP custom programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications related to payroll processes and HR systems.
- Ensure payroll solutions comply with Indonesia statutory, tax, BPJS, and labor regulation requirements.
- Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution during project and support phases.
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation for payroll-related master and transactional data.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and third-party payroll or HR applications.
- Optimize system performance and improve existing custom developments for SAP S/4HANA compatibility.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for payroll application issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, transport management, and change control records.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, HR teams, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery of assignments within agreed timelines, quality standards, and governance procedures.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in SAP ABAP development with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
- Solid knowledge of SAP Payroll / SAP HCM processes, especially Indonesia payroll localization.
- Experience in custom program remediation, code adaptation, and technical conversion for S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of ABAP Objects, Reports, ALV, SmartForms, SAPScript, BADI, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and Enhancements.
- Experience in payroll interfaces, data migration, and integration with third-party systems.
- Good understanding of Indonesia statutory regulations including tax, BPJS, overtime, and labor compliance.
- Familiarity with SAP transport management, testing cycles, and production support processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- SAP certification in ABAP, HCM, or S/4HANA is an advantage.
