Job Description:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks—from espresso and cappuccinos to beautiful latte art and specialty beverages.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment with care.
- Deliver excellent customer service, welcoming guests warmly and ensuring satisfaction.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized.
- Follow health and safety standards to maintain top quality.
- Manage inventory and suggest menu items to customers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.
Qualifications:
a. Minimum 2 years of professional Barista experience.
b. Previous experience in a specialty coffee shop or coffee roastery.
c. Strong practical knowledge of espresso preparation.
d. Good knowledge of coffee grinders and grinder adjustment.
e. Able to perform espresso dial-in and calibration.
f. Able to prepare milk-based and other espresso-based beverages.
g. Good Latte Art skills.
h. Knowledge of manual brewing methods, preferably V60.
i. Understanding of coffee beans, origins, and processing methods.
j. Basic understanding of coffee sensory evaluation.
k. Good knowledge of café hygiene and sanitation.
l. Able to work efficiently during high-volume periods.
m. Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
n. Good communication and customer-service skills.
o. Able to work as part of a professional team.
p. Willing to relocate and work in Oman.
