We've been working on Thoth.ai since 2020, and have hundreds of individuals and corporate clients lined up on our waitlist to join our Alpha - happening in early June. Were now expanding the team, and looking for like-minded individuals passionate about art and technology to join us!
About the Role
We're looking for a back-end developer who will be a part of the core team and join our journey in building Thoth. If you read and breathe code for a living, love to optimise digital operations and systems, and want to be a part of a fast-growing, dynamic tech startup, this role is for you.
What you'll Do
- Take care of existing code infrastructure
- Analyse and support the development of specifications, considering fessibility, cost and time required, compatibility with the current system, and computer capabilities required for services
- Support the creation and curation of documentation and repositories
- Design and develop RESTful APIs, and backend systems
- DevOps owing end-to-end product deelopment
- Write secure, efficient, reusale and testable code
- Practice and validate insights to enhand scalability, performance and reliability, ensure uptime appropriate to users' needs
- Collaborate with Business Development and Partnership team to develop integration adaptors for third party technology and applications
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
- Participate in code reviews
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related fields
- Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices
- Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and adjacent technologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers/ platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Experience in using source control management Github
- Exprience configuring and maintaining databases (Postgres, Redis, MongoDB)
Nice to Haves
- Understanding of Applied Machine Learning
- Experience with laaS tools/ platforms
